OUR VISION
To promote a society in which everybody including the poor, marginalized and disadvantaged in the communities work to their potential and be self-reliant for a positive social and development change in Uganda.
OUR MISSION
To Mobilize and enhance the capacities and life standards of the needy communities in Uganda whilst holding absolute hope in changing their lives through a participatory and a sustainable manner.
OBJECTIVES

Empowerment of marginalized and disadvantaged groups especially the youths and strengthening efforts to build self-reliance and to bring them to the mainstream of society.

To expand opportunities for participation of women, men, girls and boys in their community development and to learn to be self reliant.

To reduce community poverty through creating participatory and sustainable development activities

To network, collaborate and co-ordinate with other civil society organizations with related interests.

PROGRAMS/ Areas of Specialization
Education Program. Under this program, the organizations focuses on sponsorship of the most identified marginalized children by providing scholastic materials and any other financial support for the child’s education
Vocational Training. Through this program, BETEF provides training in different skills like; carpentry, masonry, plumbing, electrical, paper making, candle making e.tc. These skills are provided with the purpose of changing people’s lives through engaging them in small profit making activities.
Basic health for all. Under this area BETEF focuses on sensitization programmes for HIV and AIDS, water and sanitation, Provision of Adolescent Youth Friendly Health Services (AYFHS) and other Reproductive Health related services in the communities.
Farming & Agricultural Program. Under this area the organization’s work focuses on Sustainable agriculture for both home and commercial consumption while minding nature and environmental management.

Believe in tomorrow community empowerment foundation (BETEF) was established in the year 2013 by an initiative of SOCIAL CONCERNING YOUTHS as a VOLUNTARY Non-governmental organization with an aim to uplift and change the life scripts of the poor communities in their home communities. It is registered first as a CBO by the Local government authorities and later it will be transformed into a National NGO and to be registered by the NGO Board.

In BETEF we thrive to raise a new generation who become agents for the future generations in our communities through community empowerment initiatives. As such, BETEF welcomes and encourages participation of all social-concerning personalities from all corners of the world.
The organization’s work focuses on affordable Community Based Health care for all, HIV/AIDS Prevention, psychosocial support, Water and Sanitation, Sustainable Agriculture and Food Security, Reproductive Health rights and General Community Development.
BETEF partners with various NGOs, Local governments, Faith Based Organizations, Community based organisations, International NGOs and different Policy makers to empower and witness a sustainable social development change in Uganda.
